I have been Missing In Action yet again!

The past few weeks I  have been hustling and bustling my buns off to get ready for the Two Women Christmas show....Glittering...Glueing....Tagging...and Labeling!

This year it was a bit of a push, being back to back with Thanksgiving! 

I was blessed with a grand visit from the Flu Bug early Thanksgiving morning...It left the guys at my house to fend for themselves on Turkey Day. 

Mr. Cedar House stepped up and made a turkey dinner, including pie and the boys pulled off a Happy Thanksgiving without me! I don't remember much of the day...and spent most of it in bed...yikes!

 And there is no rest for the weary...It was get up and at em', early Friday morning...We headed to the Moran Prairie Grange in Spokane, WA. to set up for the show...

I was O' so Thankful to have all 3 of the Cedar House Soap guys there to help pack heavy furniture and make the thousands of trips from the trailer to the basement, where we set up our booth.

We got it all pulled together in record time!

Lucky for us, everything fell into place relatively easy.

The show was a big hit!!!

Now with the show behind me....I am ready to take on the busy holiday season!!! Did you know there are only 22 days  left until Christmas???

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

After the Christmas Show last week...We were finally able to deck out the Soap Shop for the holiday season....

Wreaths are now hung...

Snowflakes dangle about in the icy cold ...

Even the goose has been dressed in his best Christmas attire!

Christmas cuties are scattered about...

 

Vintage Santa's tucked here and there...

and lots of soap, of course!

 

Did I mention Santa's ???? 

It's going to be a very Merry Christmas....Indeed!



Little Santa's

Happy first day of December everybody!

I noticed while unpacking decorations this year, my small but ever growing collection of vintage pipe cleaner Santa's. They may have a more technical name but for now I will continue to call them PCS's.

I just love these little guys!



I love that they are an inexpensive collectible...you can find them hanging out at garage sales, thrift stores, & flea markets, etc.

They are small and virtually take up no room at all in my little, itty bitty, tiny cracker jack box of a house...

Frankly they are cute and just make me smile!

My latest Santa was found hanging out down at our local Animal Rescue Thrift shop, and was in need of a very delicate and embarrassing operation. Looks like he had an unfortunate accident with something very sharp. (((Ouch)))



After the removal, there was very little recovery time. This Santa can now live happily ever after with the other Santa's.

Someday I imagine I will have enough to do a whole Santa themed tree...

Christmas Stiches

Ahh.. with Thanksgiving behind us we can now embrace the Christmas Season with open arms..We gladly welcome the 25 days of Christmas!


We found this adorable stiching at a GW this weekend...I am so in love with it! This amazing Christmas scene measures in at a whopping 2 ft. x 1.5 ft. and was lovingly made by some unknown sticher. I am a such a sucker for stiches...Do you know how many hours something like this takes?....I do, maybe that's why I have a soft spot for them. I have a beautiful old frame that is screaming to be wrapped around this
o-so-sweet...fun find!
