p.s. I love you!
I love the days when the sun shines through the kitchen window and I am feeling inspired to cook up something special for my guys. Today was their lucky day!
Hot out of the oven...

The perfect way to beat the winter blues!
P.S. I love you
(Peach Strawberry Cobbler)
Filling- In a saucepan combine ½ C. sugar and 1 TB. Cornstarch.
Add ¼ C.water
Stir in 4 C. Peach slices and 2 C. Strawberries
Add 2 TB. Butter and 1 tsp. Vanilla
Cook and stir until thick, warm and bubbly.
Topping- Mix 1 C. flour, ¼ C. Sugar, 1 tsp. Baking powder,and ½ tsp. Ground Cinnamon.
Cut in 3 TB. Butter into flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Combine 1 beaten egg and 3 TB. Milk then add to crumb mixture.
Stir until moistened.
Place filling in baking dish. Drop topping mixture into 6 mounds on top of hot filling. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes,until a toothpick inserted into topping comes out clean.
The best way to enjoy is served warm right out of the oven!

Yum! That looks delish! I just found a little jadite plate like that the other day and use it all the time. Somehow they make whatever you put on them look even better!
Your cobbler looks yummy -- but I really like the jadite plate. So pretty.
